FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Does Medicare cover Valley VNA services?
Although Valley VNA follows the medical model for home care with our RN case managers, we do not provide services that Medicare will reimburse. However, some long-term care insurance policies and Community Options Programs will cover the cost of care provided by Valley VNA.

Will mom or dad have the same caregiver?
A goal of Valley VNA is to have consistent caregivers. We feel it is important to have a few caregivers familiar with each client so that someone who knows your loved one is available the majority of the time.

What happens if we need to change the time or cancel a visit? Can we do this?

To change the time for a visit, we like to have 24-hour notice which allows us to check availability and adjust schedules to provide a caregiver familiar with your loved one. You can contact us in the office at (920) 727-5555 Monday-Friday, 8:00-4:30 or after hours or on weekends at (920) 292-0578.

We do require 24 hour notification of visit cancellations.  Clients will be billed for one hour of service if 24 hour notice is not given.

Does your staff stay awake during the night or are they allowed to sleep?

Valley VNA believes that it is important for caregivers be available to assist our clients as needed; therefore our caregivers are required to stay awake during all visits.
